Terms & conditions
The terms on which GML Contractors Limited supplies products and services and provides this website. Please read them carefully.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the sale of products and services by GML Contractors Limited (“GML”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and your use of the website at gmlgroup.co (the “Site”). By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Site, you (the “Customer”, “you”) agree to these Terms.
1. About us
GML Contractors Limited is a company incorporated in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Registered/trading addresses: 27–31 Rodriguez Avenue, Victoria Village, San Fernando; and 25 Reform Estate, Reform, Trinidad and Tobago. Contact: +1 (868) 352-0658 (24/7 operations), +1 (868) 352-0650 (office), info@gmlgroup.co.
2. Definitions
“Goods” means the products offered for sale by GML, including abrasives, tyres, blasting and safety equipment, containers/CCUs and related consumables. “Services” means inspection, fabrication, blasting, coating, transport, rental and related works. “Trade Account” means an approved business account with GML. “Order” means your request to purchase Goods or Services. “VAT” means Value Added Tax charged under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
3. Trade accounts and eligibility
GML sells on a business-to-business basis. Viewing prices and purchasing through the Site require an approved Trade Account. Account applications are subject to verification and approval at our discretion, and we may decline or withdraw an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account. You confirm that persons ordering on your behalf are authorised to bind your business.
4. Products, descriptions and certifications
We take care to describe Goods accurately, but product images, illustrations, specifications, weights, dimensions, grades and technical data are provided for general guidance and are indicative only. Some product images are branded placeholders and do not depict the exact item. Manufacturer specifications and certifications (including any ISO, DNV, or third-party markings) belong to the relevant manufacturer or certifying body. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that the Goods are suitable for your intended purpose before ordering. Availability is not guaranteed and stock is sold subject to being unsold.
5. Pricing and VAT
Prices are stated in Trinidad and Tobago Dollars (TTD) and, where indicated, may be shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT. VAT is charged at the applicable statutory rate. Prices are subject to change without notice and the price applicable to your Order is the price confirmed by GML at the time your Order is accepted. Volume and account pricing, where offered, is negotiated and set per Trade Account and is not applied automatically. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them or, if none is stated, for fourteen (14) days. Obvious pricing or typographical errors do not bind us.
6. Orders and acceptance
Your Order is an offer to purchase. No contract exists until GML accepts your Order, which we may do by written confirmation, invoice, or by dispatching or making the Goods available for collection. We may accept or decline any Order, in whole or in part, and may cancel an accepted Order (with a refund of sums paid for the cancelled items) where Goods are unavailable, mispriced, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or breach of these Terms.
7. Payment and retention of title
Accepted payment methods include bank/wire transfer, cash on collection or delivery, and, for approved Trade Accounts, credit on the terms stated on your account or invoice. Where credit terms apply, payment is due by the stated due date. We may charge interest on overdue amounts at the maximum rate permitted by law and suspend supply while any amount is overdue. Title to Goods remains with GML until we have received payment in full; risk in the Goods passes to you on collection or delivery. You may not withhold or set off payment except as required by law.
8. Delivery and collection
Goods may be collected from our Reform facility or delivered island-wide, with freight quoted before dispatch. Any delivery or collection dates are estimates only and time is not of the essence. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. You must inspect Goods on collection or delivery and note any shortage, damage or discrepancy on the delivery documentation. Risk passes to you on collection or on delivery to the address you provide.
9. Returns, cancellations and shortages
As a business supplier, returns are accepted at our discretion. To request a return, contact us within seven (7) days of receipt. Goods must be unused, in original packaging and resalable condition; a restocking charge may apply. Consumables (including abrasives), cut-to-length items, special orders and custom-built items (including CCUs configured to your specification) are non-returnable unless faulty. Claims for shortage, incorrect supply or transit damage must be notified in writing within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt, with supporting evidence.
10. Warranties and manufacturer guarantees
Goods are supplied with the benefit of any applicable manufacturer’s warranty, which is the primary remedy for defects. Except for such warranties and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, Goods are supplied “as is” and we give no other warranty, express or implied, including as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for selecting Goods appropriate to your application, for correct storage, handling and use, and for compliance with all instructions and safety data.
11. Services
Where GML provides Services (including inspection, welding and fabrication, blasting and coating, transport and heavy lifting, equipment rental and CCU solutions), those Services are governed by the specific quotation, scope of work, or separate agreement for that engagement, which prevails over these Terms to the extent of any conflict. Services are performed with reasonable skill and care and to the applicable standards referenced in the relevant quotation.
12. Health, safety and proper use
Certain Goods (including abrasives, chemicals and pressurised equipment) are hazardous if misused. You are responsible for the safe storage, handling, use and disposal of Goods, for providing appropriate personal protective equipment, for reading and following all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and manufacturer instructions, and for compliance with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws. GML is not responsible for loss or injury arising from improper use.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Subject to that, GML is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, production, contracts, or business, however arising. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any Order, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall not exceed the price paid by you for the Goods or Services giving rise to the claim.
14. Intellectual property and brands
All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos and layout — is owned by or licensed to GML and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Third-party brand names and marks referenced on the Site (including Airblast, Rockridge, RockStar, Royal Black and others) are the property of their respective owners and are used to identify Goods supplied by GML as an authorised distributor or reseller.
15. Data protection and privacy
We collect and process the information you provide to operate your account, fulfil Orders, and provide Services, in accordance with applicable data protection law in Trinidad and Tobago. We do not sell your personal information. By using the Site and opening an account, you consent to this use.
16. Force majeure
GML is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, weather, fire, flood, industrial action, supplier or carrier failure, shortage of materials, port or customs delays, or governmental action.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the Site, or any Order (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad and Tobago.
18. General
We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of your Order applies to that Order. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights without our consent. These Terms, together with any quotation, order confirmation or account agreement, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding their subject matter.
